Our programme is based on a unique ‘therapeutic family’ model, where staff outnumber clients by nearly 2 to 1. We have two qualified AOD clinicians, an Operations manager with degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology), trained support workers and supervisors (Level 4 addictions certificates), a wellness/yoga/mindfulness coach (B.A in addiction studies), a fitness instructor and two additional (non clinical) support staff. Our clinicians are DAPAANZ Registered.

We do not run a 12 steps or religious-based programme, and we are not a tough love/boot camp. We do not support the disease model. Some of us in the Red Door team have experienced dependence or addiction ourselves and gone on to long-term recovery, which brings authenticity and life experience to the programme.

All rehabs are different and we do not knock any other treatment model. It is important that our clients elect a programme model with which they feel a strong connection. We are not the right option for every client enquiry – and if that is the case, we will help you to refer elsewhere.

We are a family-inclusive programme.

If you need us, the door is open.
